The key to becoming successful affiliate marketer is conducting a bit of market research for affiliate marketers before you plunge time (and maybe money) into building a website or deciding on what products to promote or campaign.
Imagine what it would be like if you built a tourist centre full of all of the clippings & cuttings: fresh white towels, best of cotton sheets, 12 pools, 5-star restaurant, and flawlessly beautiful architecture & scenery…
However, there is a problem; it’s on the moon and there are no people.
Do you see yourself profiting from your effort? Definitely not.
Similarly, if you spend all your time building a website or promoting an affiliate offer or a campaign where there is no market, you will come up short, and it’s just not worth it.
You need to figure out which topics, or “niches,” are in hot demand, and then find an affiliate network with a good variety of products to promote.
This will enable you to build a niche-specific website, with strong products that will be easy to promote and earn you commissions.
One of the most important things to practice as an affiliate marketer is what’s known as “keyword research.”
Keywords, or the terms or phrases people type into Google, can be the best way of finding out what exactly people are searching/looking for.
If you can find some popular phrases, and convince search engines like Google that your website has relevant information about them, you’ll get the rankings you need to get people to your affiliate links.
The question that leads to is, “How to know what your customers want?”
This will be discussed in Series 2.

Heya just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same results.
Thanks for the feedback.
Working on it.
